Ben and I are good. We moved to Apache Junction to be closer to my parents a few months ago and we are loving our new place. It has a decent sized backyard which we love!!! Ben is still working as am electrician and loves his job. I love staying at home with my girls. I am so grateful for a supportive husband.
Belle is doing great. She got her leg braces recently and just got her happy chair today. A happy chair is a foam chair that is customized to conform to her body and help her to sit up properly. It comes with a table so that she can play with her toys on it and focus her vision without having to worry about supporting the rest of her body. It also comes with a stand up bar. We were trying it out this evening and she was pulling herself to stand using the bar and rocking herself. THIS IS A HUGE DEAL!!! We were so happy and so was she, she had the biggest grin on her face. She was so proud of herself. All the therapist I talk to, think that she will be walking in no time!!! I am so excited to see what the next few months bring for her. She is supposed to start preschool in September. I know it will help her a lot. It is really scary to send your baby who cant speak or tell you if anything happens to strangers though. All her therapists keep telling us it will work wonders for her though, so I guess we'll see.
Gracie just turned 1!!! Where does the time go? We love this little girl so much. She is a little dare devil and is always climbing on something. She is running around great. She started walking around ten months. She says lots of words ( Mom, Dad, Belle, Grandma, Grandpa, Baby, Puppy, Pretty etc.. ) She eats more then any baby I have ever known. It's seriously impressive. Even so, she is a skinny, lanky little thing ha ha. She has a soother, Her Aunt Amy gave her a little blanket for Christmas and she is obsessed with it. She sucks on it to sleep and drags it around the house with her during the day. Since she never took a binky I'm glad she finally found a way to self soothe. Its pretty adorable.
