Yoga and Gummy Bears

I am sitting here eating Sprouts 21 flavor gummy bears, while I should be doing my yoga. I love doing it, but sometimes I lack the motivation to get going and forget that fact. Anyone else have that problem? I tried out quite a few prenatal yoga videos when I was first pregnant, but they were so repetitive and cheesy. I couldn’t take it. So I went back to my favorite video. It’s called AM and PM Yoga by Element. It isn’t a hard video and I can still do most of the moves. I just switch to other positions when they do something I can’t do. I have thought a lot about being healthy this pregnancy. With Isabelle I was quite unhealthy. That might be an understatement. I basically ate like a football player and didn’t exercise. It definitely showed, especially at the end. I cringe whenever I look at Belle’s birth pictures and that is just sad. So, I am really trying to exercise and eat healthier this time around. I do slip once in a while, hence the gummy bears. I just wish I had a consistent workout buddy or a personal trainer to provide me with the motivation. What do you do to keep yourself motivated?

In other news we bought me a car today!!! I am crazy excited especially for the fact that it has 4 doors. It’s a Hyundai Accent just like our other vehicle. It is just a few years younger and its automatic. I will miss manual but I think it is safer having two hands with babies in the car. Having two cars will mean I can actually run errands and go to Belle’s million appointments without having to worry about dropping off and picking up Ben. Or having one of our parents take me. This really is such a blessing.

I had got a Fossil messenger bag for my birthday which I love. Unfortunately it was just too small to work as a diaper bag and I didn’t want it to get ruined by the bottles and baby food. So I got a Ju Ju Be diaper bag. So far it is wonderful. I love all the organization and especially the fact that it is a backpack. My shoulders can’t take the single straps anymore ha ha.

I also just invested in hot rollers. I didn’t know they were even around anymore. I am so glad I heard about them though. One of my best friends Jennifer was down and mentioned hers. When I told her I had been thinking of getting them, she ran down for hers and we tried them out. I was hooked. They are so much faster and easier then curling with an iron, especially when you have long hair.

Here are a couple extra pictures from this past week :]

I hope everyone has a lovely week; I am off to do my PM yoga!!!

A Week Of Changes

Last week was a big week for us. On Wednesday the 13th, we went to the Mesa, AZ Temple to have our little family be sealed for Time and all Eternity. In our church we have been given the knowledge that families can be together forever. I cannot think of a more precious blessing. I wasn’t sure if I was going to blog about this. It is very special and private to me, but I felt the need to share my testimony. I know that our Church is true, that Jesus Christ lives and that he has sent us Prophets to guide us in these latter days and I know that by going to the Temple this past week and following the commandments that I will be able to spend Eternity with my family. I really am so grateful to all our family and friends who helped this experience perfect. For more information on the Latter Day Saints click this link.http://mormon.org/

On a lighter note, it was also my Birthday and Valentine’s Day!!! Benjamin was able to spend both days off with Belle and I. It was wonderful. He got me a couple books I have been wanting forever and beautiful flowers. The day of my birthday he woke me up to eggs and pancakes with homemade syrup, it was delicious Mmmm. We stopped by Firehouse Subs for my free sub for lunch. It was yummy, though I prefer Jimmy John’s; their homemade bread is the cincher! That evening after the Temple, we celebrated at Red Robin with all our friends and family… it ended up being almost 40 people but they put our table together quick. I signed up that day for my free birthday burger, but I guess it takes 24 hours to activate. That was pretty annoying, but you can get your free burger any time during your birthday month. I will go get it as soon as Gracelyn gives me one of my many mean burger cravings ha ha. Valentine’s Day was pretty boring (which is my favorite). We went to Walmart and stocked up on the junk food we never buy and got a couple free red boxes. We watched “Frankenweinie” which was just weird, and “Here Comes the Boom” which I loved. It’s hard to find good PG movies these days!! Anyway, I’m sorry this is so long. I’ll shut up and leave with you with some pictures. What did you do for Lovers Day?!

Things lately

HELLO bloggie friends. Hope everyone has been well. We have been quite busy these days, but very exciting things are happening next week, and thats not even including my beloved Birthday and Valentines day. You will have to wait until next week to find out our big plans though ;) . For now here's an update of whats been going on around here.

I colored my hair auburn!!

Belle can stand up by herself when she is holding on to something now!!!

Belle got her blood drawn. It's breaks my heart everytime. She hates it. On the other hand we looove some cheap and delicious Sam's Club food!!!

Ben has been working away on his bee hive. What I've seen so far... from the comfort of a picture (Seeing as I am highly allergic to bees) looks great. I can't wait until its ready for Benjamin to harvest.

Belle is obsessed with clapping these days.

And with making silly faces. We love this little girl!

My Mom and Dad got me this beautiful Fossil bag for my Birthday!! I am using it as a diaper bag, and it's working great. I am in love with it already!!

We planted my parents flower garden last Saturday. I can't wait until it fills out and blooms.

This handsome Gentleman is my dad :)

I may or may not have cried when I saw how big my belly was in this picture ha ha. Maybe it's the angle... or maybe I am in denial because I don't think it's normally that big!! I am 19 weeks now... did your bellies get a lot bigger the second time around? What have you been up to this past week? Do you have any big plans for Valentines day?!
